The upper of this style is handwoven using raffia, a natural fiber. Due to this artisanal process, each shoe is completely unique.
A renowned microblock sole is made from a supple material that is extremely light yet durable and similar to rubber.
The raw microblock piece, which is made of multicolor layers fused together, is cut directly into the shape of the shoe sole.
A leather welt adds a touch of sophistication to the innately technical elements of the sole.
Finally, the articulated sole, initially designed by Robert Clergerie from an archival piece dating from 1943, is meant to add comfort to an otherwise rigid sole. It is used as the brand’s signature on every microblock sole and ensures a high level of comfort.
